He works on special projects with respect to geothermal energy, Class V & VI well permitting, and lithium/brine mining activities. He previously directed RRC’s Critical Infrastructure Division, served as the director of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s (TCEQ) Program Support and Environmental Assistance Division (PSEAD), and served at Army Futures Command in Austin, Texas as the organization’s chief Installation, Energy and Environmental (IE&E) Engineer.\nJared served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for over two decades with assignments as a battalion commander, the 82nd Airborne Division’s Senior Engineer, and as an Assistant Professor of Geospatial Information Science at the United States Military Academy (West Point, New York). He is a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), Certified Energy Manager, and member of the Gamma Theta Upsilon geographic honor society.\nEVENT DETAILS\nDate: January 14, 2026\nTime: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm\nLocation: The Houston Club, 910 Louisiana St., Ste. 4900, Houston, TX 77002\nWelcome to GPA Midstream Houston Chapter\nGPA MIDSTREAM Houston Chapter (HGPA Midstream) is a Non-Profit Organization committed to serve as a forum for exchanging ideas and information regarding the Midstream Industry and provide opportunities for social interaction with others involved in the industry in the local Houston area.\nGPA Midstream Houston Chapter membership consists 50+ corporate members of all sizes and more than 1000 individuals employed by 300+ midstream companies.\nRelationship With GPA Midstream National Chapter\nAlthough GPA Midstream Houston Chapter is closely affiliated with the National GPA Midstream, it is a separate organization. There are five other regional chapters – North Texas, Rocky Mountain, Permian Basin, Appalachian Basin, and MidContinent. As separate organizations, each regional chapter charges a modest membership fee to cover operating expenses. Thus, membership to the National chapter of GPA Midstream does not include membership to any of the individual regional chapters, and Houston GPA Midstream membership is separate from a membership in the National Chapter of GPA Midstream. Annual Houston GPA Midstream membership dues are $200 for an individual membership and range from $500-$5000 for a corporate membership.\nThe HGPA Midstream website does not currently post open positions for our members, however, you are welcome to visit the public Houston GPA Midstream Linkedin Page and view/post jobs that are industry appropriate.\n\n
