(Casper, Wyoming) Bridger Pipeline LLC was notified today that President Donald Trump has approved a permit to allow Bridger’s subsidiary Bridger Pipeline Expansion LLC to transport crude oil from Canada across the U.S. border in Phillips County, Montana. The Presidential Permit is required for Bridger’s proposed 36-inch crude oil pipeline to transport Canadian crude from the U.S. border to Guernsey, Wyoming.

We also want to thank Interior Secretary Doug Bergum, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and the National Energy Dominance Council for their hard work in getting this permit approved.”

Bridger Pipeline Expansion, LLC has proposed building a 645-mile crude oil pipeline to transport heavy Canadian crude oil through eight counties in Eastern Montana (Phillips, Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Richland, Wibaux, Fallon, and Carter) and five counties in Eastern Wyoming (Crook, Weston, Niobrara, Platt, and Goshen).

More than 70% of the new pipeline will be built within existing pipeline corridors.

The pipeline will cross about 435 miles of land in Montana and about 215 miles of land in Wyoming. About 80% of the line will be built on private land. About 10% on federal lands and about 10–12% on state lands. The proposed project does not cross any Native American Reservations.

Bridger Pipeline LLC is a liquid pipeline operator that gathers and transports crude oil in the Williston Basin of western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. The company operates more than 3,700 miles of crude oil gathering and transmission lines. Bridger Pipeline is based in Casper, WY.
