API Williston Basin Chapter 45th Annual Chili Cook-Off March 26, 2026 – North Dakota

The 45th Annual API Chili Cook-Off will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Raymond Family Community Center.

The Williston API is proud to host events that bring our community together while raising funds for local organizations and scholarships. 2025’s API Chili Cook-Off exceeded all expectations, with 22 competing teams, 100+ sponsors, and over 1,500 attendees, resulting in over $110,000 raised to support scholarships and community programs.

 

The money raised from this event will directly impact local organizations, scholarships, and charitable programs, including:
API Scholarship Program
Giving Hearts Day Donations (Coyote Clay Target League, Upper Missouri Ministries, Eckert Youth Home, Salvation Army)
Community Support (Williston Flyers Pee Wee Hockey, Korner Lions, Family Crisis Shelter, Keene VFD, Kids Day Out Foundation, WHS After Prom, WRED)

The American Petroleum Institute (API) is the only national trade association that represents all aspects of America’s oil and natural gas industry. Members from the largest major oil companies to the smallest of independents, come from all segments of the industry. They are producers, refiners, suppliers, pipeline operators and transporters, as well as service and supply companies that support all segments of the industry.

Williston Chapter
The Williston Basin chapter of the American Petroleum Institute is a nonprofit organization comprised of service oriented individuals who serve the local oil and gas industry, as well as the surrounding community. Our members are dedicated to providing a forum for the discussion of energy related issues and promoting improvement of the energy industry through education and community action.

Williston API members are committed to develop and adhere to the highest level industry standards, protect the environment, and lead in health and safety performance. The Williston API raises funds for scholarships, promotes education, and makes an impact in the community where we live and work.
