Beyond her professional work, Cones is a passionate advocate for pediatric cancer research. As the mother of two children—one a leukemia survivor—she actively supports initiatives dedicated to funding research and bringing hope to families facing similar challenges. She has also been married for more than 20 years to her husband, a Lieutenant with the Houston Police Department.
