The release also incorporates expected contributions from ONEOK’s completed acquisition of Brazos Midstream’s Permian Midland Basin assets. It does not announce a new final investment decision, a named expansion project, an engineering award or a contractor package.

Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP financial measure. ONEOK said its reported third-quarter net income included a one-time, noncash income-tax benefit of $336 million related to its reorganization associated with a minority-equity transaction.
Permian and product volumes supported the quarter
ONEOK reported higher volumes across several parts of its midstream system. NGL raw-feed throughput rose 6% year over year, including a 16% increase in the Gulf Coast and Permian region. Refined-products volumes shipped increased 6%, and natural-gas volumes processed in the Permian region increased 4%.
At the segment level, third-quarter adjusted EBITDA in refined products and crude rose to $685 million from $582 million a year earlier. Natural-gas-pipelines adjusted EBITDA rose to $231 million from $200 million. The company reported $563 million of adjusted EBITDA in natural-gas gathering and processing and $718 million in NGLs for the quarter.
The company said higher volumes and optimization and marketing activity contributed to its financial performance. The release does not assign the reported volume gains to a new named asset, identify new processing plants or pipeline expansions, or disclose new construction awards.
Brazos acquisition is included in updated guidance
ONEOK said it has completed its acquisition of Brazos Midstream’s Permian Midland Basin assets. Its updated guidance incorporates approximately $75 million of expected contributions from the acquired assets, with approximately $50 million expected to be reflected in adjusted EBITDA net of transaction costs.
The company expects 2026 capital expenditures of approximately $3.5 billion. It said the updated amount reflects enhanced growth opportunities and capital expenditures related to the Brazos Permian Midland acquisition.
Those are corporate capital-expenditure and financial-guidance figures. ONEOK’s announcement does not allocate the $3.5 billion to individual pipeline, compression, processing, fractionation, storage or terminal projects. It also does not identify an associated procurement schedule, equipment order, engineering contract or construction contractor.
Balance-sheet actions and outlook
ONEOK said it extinguished nearly $5.5 billion of debt principal in September and completed a $9 billion minority-equity investment. The company also reported credit-rating upgrades to BBB+ from S&P Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings.
For 2027, ONEOK said it expects meaningful earnings growth from the Brazos Permian Midland assets, recently completed and advancing growth projects, and continued commercial optimization. That is management’s forward-looking outlook, not confirmation of a specific future project’s permitting, construction or in-service date.
Allstream perspective: stronger volumes and a completed Permian asset acquisition, but no new project award
Allstream perspective: The results point to higher activity across ONEOK’s NGL, refined-products, gathering-and-processing, and natural-gas-pipeline businesses, with the completed Brazos acquisition now included in management’s near-term financial outlook. The company’s $3.5 billion capital-expenditure guidance signals continued investment capacity, but its third-quarter release does not supply the project-level detail needed to identify a contractor-ready scope.
For the industrial supply chain, the next decision-useful disclosures would be named facilities or expansions, approved capital scopes, permit or regulatory milestones, equipment specifications, procurement packages, contractor selections and construction schedules. Until then, this announcement should be read as a quarterly operating and financial update with raised guidance—not as a new project award.
