Blake Evans, Senior Vice President
Pond & Company (Pond), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, has hired Blake Evans as Senior Vice President of the firm’s Energy vertical. In this role, Blake will focus on utilities and commercial service offerings, driving strategic growth in
the power, renewables, and oil and gas midstream markets. Based in Denver, CO, he will support Pond’s offices nationwide, directing continued process improvement efforts, business development, and overall project performance.
Prior to joining Pond, Blake served as Senior Vice President, Unit General Manager, Energy Networks at a previous company, where he was instrumental in all aspects of the energy market, including oil and gas, and power and renewables. Within oil and gas, he primarily focused on pipeline, compressor station, pump station, gas processing, liquified natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and carbon capture projects. Within power and renewables, he focused on offshore wind, onshore wind, power transmission, substations, battery energy storage system (BESS), and renewable projects in North America.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Blake has more than 30 years of experience and third generation long-standing relationships in the industry. He has successfully managed and led teams across various functions, including engineering, design, procurement, sourcing, logistics, operations, and construction spanning diverse field sites, facilities, and offices across multiple countries.
Adam Crotts, Associate Vice President
Pond & Company (Pond), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, has hired Adam Crotts, P.E. as Associate Vice President of the firm’s Energy vertical.
In this role, Crotts will focus on utilities and commercial service offerings, driving operational excellence and growth in the power, renewables, and oil and gas midstream markets. Based in Pensacola, FL, he will support Pond’s offices nationwide, supporting continued process improvement efforts, business development, and driving technical excellence.
Prior to joining Pond, Crotts served as the Energy Networks Engineering Manager for North and South America at a previous company. He was instrumental in all aspects of the energy market with a focus on driving technical excellence and growth for the engineering team. Crotts and his engineering teams primarily focused on pipeline, compressor station, pump station, gas processing, liquified natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and carbon capture projects for the pipeline and facilities sector, and offshore wind, onshore wind, power transmission, substations, and renewable projects in North America for the power sector.
